Qualifications and Modality Information.

Diploma Remedial Massage – Is a treatment modality that manipulates the soft tissues of the body, including movement for a specific therapeutic effect. It uses relevant techniques, lubricants and movements according to the client’s needs and response.

Craniosacral Therapy Level 9 – A system of alternative medicine intended to relieve pain and tension by gentle manipulations of the skull and body. It is regarded as harmonizing with the natural rhythm in the central nervous system.

I completed all 9 Levels of Craniosacral Therapy in August 2016, including Paediatric CST.

Reiki Lvl II – A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist channels energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Diploma Indian Head Massage – Wonderfully relaxing, it is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. It involves a massage to the head, face, upper back and shoulders and relieves tension in the muscles. It can be relaxing, stimulating and invigorating.

Clinical Reflexology Level II – Massage used to relieve tension and based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, which are linked to every part of the body.

Infant Massage Instructor – Teaching parents, grandparents and carers how to connect and bond with their baby through massage. Babies become more aware of their bodies and the massage also helps with colic, wind, reflux and constipation.

2017 Courses

Certificate Level 1 – Myofascial Release work

Certificate – Hot Stone Massage

Acupressure – Acupressure is an ancient healing art form, where the fingers are used by pressing and holding on key healing points on the body. This stimulates the body’s natural self-curative abilities and unblocks the body’s energy paths.

This year I have been concentrating on Myofascial release work and have incorporated it successfully, together with Craniosacral therapy into my massage sessions.

Once I have full understanding of Acupressure, I am hoping to incorporate this too, into my sessions.

Other modalities: Hopi Ear Candling
