TermPrices and Class Info

Class policy:Classes run for an 8-week term.There will only be a makeup class if the teacher is absent and we are unable to find a substitute teacher, or if there is a public holiday within the 8 weeks.  Please advise us with plenty of notice if you are unable to attend one of your classes – there may be the opportunity for you to attend another class of the same ability within the term, but only if you discuss with your teacher and the teacher approves this in conjunction with the other teacher.

ClinicalPilates:

$248 perterm(8classes)

  • Casual Classes not
  • May be claimable on private health.

Clinical Pilates classes are run by our physiotherapists and are limited to 6 people per class.  Prior to commencing pilates our physios will perform a pre-screening which includes a real-time ultrasound assessment.  This is a one-off hour appointment ($125), where all your previous injury, pregnancy and/or medical conditions are discussed, to ensure that we can safely prescribe exercises and give you the maximum benefit we can offer  Pilates.  Exercises are tailored to the individual and are beneficial for people of all fitness levels.  Pilates is a form of rehabilitation exercise and can treat various conditions including: low back pain, neck pain, pre/post pregnancy, post menopause and many other musculoskeletal conditions.

Dru Yoga:

$150 perterm(8classes)

$20 Casual. Casual visits need to be pre-booked and paid at reception the day prior to class.

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.

Over65’sBalance:

$80 per term or$10 aclass(8 Classes)

These classes are structured to improve your balance and strength through fun activities and exercises shared with people of a similar age. The aim of the class is to help you feel safe confident and comfortable within your home and in the wider community. The exercises are designed to match your level of strength in a closely supervised environment.

Mindfulness-based Stillness Meditation:

$120 per term (8 classes) – Casual classes notavailable.

In the words of Einstein: “The intuitive mind is our sacred gift and rational, thinking mind is a faithful servant.  We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” Mindfulness-Based Stillness Meditation is a simple nonjudgmental way of taming excessive thinking, disempowering unnecessary stress and reclaiming enjoyment of life.

Tai Chi (QiGong) classes:

$150 perterm(8classes)

$20 Casual. Casual visits need to be pre-booked and paid at reception the day prior to class.

Tai Chi is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used in the belief it promotes health, spirituality, and martial arts training.[1] With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi(chi), translated as “life energy”.

Overcoming Chronic Pain (O.C.P):

$275 (6 Classes)

These classes are run on an as needed basis, not off the school term like other classes.

Single sessions are also available, please ask at reception.

The price includes a 30-minute pre-screening with Belinda which is required before commencement. P.S.H. therapist Belinda Hawkins (BMedSc) has a special interest in helping people overcome chronic pain by re-training their brains and addressing the sub-conscious issues involved in the experience of pain. As a result, people report less pain, better sleep, often a reduction in the need to take medications and a greater sense of wellbeing.
