Clinical Pilates Class

Clinical Pilates classes (as distinct to generic Pilates classes) focus on individual class member’s needs by applying carefully selected exercises for class members with specific injuries or needs.

Our Clinical Pilates classes are designed to focus on posture, core stability and strength, balance, flexibility, and breathing. This form of exercise is beneficial to anyone wanting to strengthen their bodies after injury or for anyone wanting to improve their posture, strength and flexibility.

Classes are small with 6 people in each and are run by our Physiotherapist team who closely supervise class members to ensure that each person achieves optimal gains in class whilst minimizing the likelihood of injury or aggravation.

A Pre-Pilates screening appointment with one of our Physiotherapists is required prior to commencing classes so that our team can fully assess your individual requirements and tailor exercises to meet your needs. This is an hour appointment and is claimable on private health.

Our Clinical Pilates classes follow the school terms with one session per week. There is also a   make-up class at the end of term for anyone who has missed a session during the term.
