Hi my name is Shay

I am a Dru Yoga teacher. Dru Yoga is a soft, flowing yoga controlled by the breath and energised with visualisation. It’s a graceful form of exercise and a potent means of stress relief – working on the body and the mind, strengthening core stability and building a heightened feeling of positivity and empowerment. Each class involves an activation, energy block release, sequence or posture and a relaxation. In my past life I have been an aerobics and aqua-aerobics instructor and a gymnast, leading me to a deeply felt belief that we are more than our physical body. We are mind, body and spirit, all of which must be nurtured and respected in this life journey. In my spare time I teach pre-schoolers 5 days a week – a magical and blessed occupation that ensures I remain grounded in the important things in life – our children and our joy.
