Telehealth is rapidly growing in the health space at the moment. It allows skilled practitioners to access patients who: are rural + remote, have compromised immune systems, are disabled, are elderly, in confinement, or who simply can’t make it (think mum’s with toddlers + newborns etc.).
Although Telehealth will work differently to your regular appointment type, it still offers many benefits to the patient. Our therapists are skilled at providing education, assisting you in treating yourself at home, supervising and advising on suitable home exercise if you have complex exercise requirements and prescribing herbs and supplements if relevant.
Telehealth is now claimable on private health insurance.
People with Exhanced Primary Care plans (EPCs), also known as chronic condition management plans, will be entitled to completely bulk billed physiotherapy Telehealth sessions. This will count as a treatment within your allocated appointments prescribed by your general practitioner. Please call reception to book one of these appointment types if you have an EPC, would like to use it for a Telehealth appointment, and request it to be bulk billed.
Steps to Begin your Telehealth Appointment at Entire Physio
1. Book your appointment (N.B. you will need to specifically book a telehealth appointment type), either over the phone with our Reception Angels on 62995183 or through our online booking system using the below drop down. You will need to provide both your phone number and email address. You are required to pay for your appointment at the time of booking unless this is a NDIS appointment.
2. If you require a receipt to claim a private health rebate please leave us a message in the booking notes and we will arrange this for you following your appointment.
3. From here, you will be emailed an appointment confirmation with a link to connect with your practitioner at the time of the telehealth session. At the time of your appointment, please click the link and stay on line, continuing to “call” the practitioner. We will answer as soon as possible and commence your telehealth session.
